ANSER membership application
ANSER is an international research platform fostering interaction and knowledge sharing between academics and policy makers. The members engage in cutting-edge joint research projects, weigh-in on current policy debates and host innovative training programs. As a global resource for SRHR policy research, education and service delivery ANSER helps building evidence based policies that support sexual and reproductive rights for everyone, everywhere.

ANSER membership is open to research institutions, non-profit organisations and other relevant stakeholders working in the field of SRHR research, demonstrating a vested  interest in policy. There is no membership fee but members engage to share and build knowledge proactively and actively engage in the network, its activities and meetings.

Commitment
By applying for membership of the Academic Network for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights Policy (ANSER), your institution commits to contribute to the improvement of people’s sexual and reproductive health and rights worldwide.
Moreover, your institution believes that sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) lies at the immediate intersect of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for Health and Gender Equality and should therefore be central to all policies advancing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. And wants to take action towards sound SRHR policymaking that necessitates an evidence base to ensure adequacy and effectiveness, reliable follow-up and monitoring, accountability, and regular sharing of experiences between different types of stakeholders.

Types of membership
1) Full members:
Researchers from academic or research institutions working on sexual and reproductive health and policy. Their objective is to collect SRHR policy research data or SRHR data that can be relevant for policy makers.

2) Associated members:
Partners that are not academic or research institutions but non-profit organisations engaged in SRHR policy work and with an interest in research. The objective of these associated members is to work with the network to translate the SRHR research agenda to policy makers and help strengthening the policy expertise in the network. Associated members cannot vote on decisions made in the network.
