The 2017 TEDxKC Speaker Challenge! DEADLINE: Midnight, June 18.
Do you have an idea worth spreading? An idea with the potential to change your workplace, community or the world? We invite you to take the TEDxKC Speaker Challenge and submit your idea for a chance to give a TEDx Talk on August 18, 2017 in Kansas City.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
Submit your original idea in the form of a 2-3 minute video along with a clearly written summary. This is an open-ended challenge, anything goes, be creative, be thoughtful. A fancy video isn’t necessary (your smartphone is more than adequate) — we’re interested in your idea.

WINNER:
The winner of the speaker challenge will be invited to share their idea with the TEDxKC 2017 audience on the stage at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. Assistance developing your talk and speaker coaching are available from the TEDxKC team. Travel to Kansas City, if needed, is covered for the winner.

ELIGIBILITY:
Open to any age group; travel award is only available within the US.
