Comprehension Passage
Children are really the image of God. Who does not like to see and love the innocent little ones ? Their innocent smiles make us feel happier and forget the worries of the world. Their minds are without evil and hearts are fragile. If we smile at a child, it returns the smile. Really they are kings. They are free from hatred, enmity and the distinction of the high and the low, of the rich
and the poor. A king’s child does not hesitate in playing with a beggar’s child. In anger a child may spit at the face of a king. Man is a born lover of beauty. The beauty of a child’s smile has a universal charm which will never fade. We shall not like the world, if there are no children in it and we shall be deprived of their innocent smiles.
