NEW AFCC PROGRAMS REGISTERING FOR (select all that apply):
Family Handbell Choir (ages 10+) : Tuesdays 4:30-5:30pm at the American Fork Arts Institute. Come ring with our new Family Handbell Choir! With so few opportunities for families to come together and make music in a group setting, handbells can offer some musical parent/child bonding time. Some piano or other instrumental music experience is helpful, but not required. Due to the team nature of handbell ringing, a commitment to perfect attendance is extremely important. Space is limited; priority will be given to students that plan to come with a parent or grandparent (be sure to also fill out the name below). IMPORTANT NOTE: AT THIS POINT ALL HANDBELL POSITIONS ARE FILLED, BUT WE HAVE ROOM FOR ALTERNATES AS WELL AS STUDENTS INTERESTED IN PLAYING ON CHIMES, GLOCKENSPIEL OR OTHER PERCUSSION INSTRUMENTS WITH THE HANDBELL CHOIR.

FULL (sign up for wait list) Songwriting Class (ages 10-18): Tuesdays 3:30-4:25pm at the American Fork Arts Institute. Enrollment limited to 10 students. The best way to learn the workings of music is to experiment with writing it! Students will learn how to write melodies and harmonies, place chords, as well as fun ways to craft lyrics through inspiring writing prompts. Completed student songs will be considered for performance in future American Fork Children's Choir concerts.
Concert Choir (ages 8+ auditioned) : Mondays 3:15-4:30pm at Greenwood Elementary. Students in this group sing in 2-part harmony. NEW STUDENTS: Contact with the subject "Concert Choir Audition" to let him know you'd like to audition (before or after rehearsal). The audition is there to make sure students are ready for harmony singing by being able to match pitch (that is all).
Ukulele Youth Choir (ages 10+ open enrollment for students that have moved beyond ukulele basics and are competent with at least 5 chords) : Mondays 4:30-5:30pm at Greenwood Elementary. This is our intermediate ukulele choir and will focus on singing & strumming as well as instrumental tablature playing. Students should plan to bring their own ukulele.
REGISTRATION CLOSED. 3-Chord Choir (ages 10+, no previous ukulele experience required): Wednesdays 4:30-5:30pm at the American Fork Library. This choir is perfect for students that would like to review the basics of ukulele playing or have no previous ukulele experience. Students should plan to bring their own ukulele.
REGISTRATION CLOSED. Chimes & Voices (ages 7+): Wednesdays 3:45-4:30pm at the American Fork Library. This non-auditioned choir for ages 7-14 teaches principles of good singing and musicianship while learning to play hand chimes, resonator bells, desk bells, xylophones, glockenspiels, boomwhackers and other fun pitched percussion instruments.
Gator Choir (Greenwood Elementary students ages 7+ only) : Mondays 2:30-3:15pm at Greenwood Elementary. This is our choir dedicated to the wonderful students of Greenwood Elementary.
