Teaching Tolerance - March 6, 8:30am - 3:30pm - The Teaching Tolerance Curriculum is a collection of literacy-based, anti-bias, social justice resources that are aligned to the Common Core English Language Arts and Literacy standards, and to the groundbreaking Teaching Tolerance Social Justice Standards. Learn to use the curriculum to engage students with meaningful texts through literacy learning and real-world application.

Facilitating Critical Conversations - March 7, 8:30am - 3:00pm - This interactive workshop will help teachers explore strategies for facilitating critical conversations with students and colleagues. They will learn strategies for creating supportive learning environments that encourage risk-taking during critical conversations. Finally, they’ll investigate methods of teaching about implicit bias, race, and other critical topics.
