Tuscan School’s 18th Annual Challenge: Ultimate TV-Turnoff - October 2018 - June 2019.
Last year, over 400 Tuscan students successfully completed TV Turnoff! Students from kindergarten to fifth grade challenged themselves to explore their interests such as reading, learning a musical instrument, keeping a journal, participating in sports, writing, or drawing instead of watching TV.

Studies have shown that students who watch ten hours or less of television a week perform better in school.

As a special bonus for participating, students will be able to check out one more library book all year long. Kindergartners will be able to check out two books; students in grades one through five will be able to check out three books. When our third through fifth graders participate in the Battle of the Books program later this year, they will have the privilege of borrowing four items per library visit during the duration of the Battle.

TV Turnoff signup is ONLINE ONLY. TV Turnoff will officially start on Monday, October 1, 2018. The deadline to sign up for TV Turnoff is Friday, October 12th. Please do not forget to hit SUBMIT or the form will not save. Thank you!
