General FAQs about Private Lessons:

1. Do they cost extra money? Yes, the private lesson teacher is paid directly by the band family. Monthly cost ranges $80-$100 per month (4 lessons per month).

2. When do lessons take place? Lessons happen at LRMS Band Hall during band class, before school or after school. This is a great advantage to have these professionals come to your student's school!

3. Why take private lessons - I'm not sure my child will like this instrument long term?! Private lessons benefit everyone at any phase of their skill development because it makes them gain skill way faster. Once students experience this immediate success, they really can't wait to go to their next lesson!
