Since our founding in 2015, we’ve had the words “Let’s Make Good” written on our bags. To us, this is more than just a catchy slogan. It’s a promise to our community to show up and help create positive change; not just when the going gets tough, but every single day.
The news can seem pretty heavy these days, but underneath those big bad headlines are real people like you and me (yes, you!) showing up, speaking out, and doing the work to make the world a better place.
The best part? We know we're not alone. There are hundreds, thousands - heck, millions! - of people all over the world making good in their communities through determination, kindness, and (we predict) a cup of coffee or two.
Do you know someone who is making a positive impact? Tell us about it!
Each month for the rest of the year, we're donating $200 to people and organizations making good across the country - but we need your help to find them. Nominate your local hero for a chance to win a bag of coffee for yourself and $200 for the nominated person/organization.
We read every single submission, so don't be shy! Spread the love and see what happens. #LetsMakeGood
> Submissions are reviewed and selected by a panel of judges from Greater Goods Coffee. Entries will be judged on their commitment to the community, compassion toward all people, grit, and overcoming adversity, among other things.
> Submission windows start and end on the 15th of each month. For example, our September nominee will be selected from the August 15, 2020 - September 15, 2020 window and announced soon after.
> Winners must be over the age of 18 and reside in the United States of America.
> Winners will be announced on our website and social media at the end of each month.
> Winners should expect a short phone interview and be able to provide at least 1 photo of themselves doing good in their community.
