Emory JLF: Jewish Learning Fellowship 2018
The Jewish Learning Fellowship (JLF) is a 7-week experiential, conversational seminar for students looking to deepen their understanding of Judaism on their own terms. We’re interested in asking big questions. You know, the big stuff — like Who am I? What communities am I a part of? What is worth committing myself to, and why? And we don’t purport to have any of the big answers... certainly not for anyone else.

We are proud to say that we make no claims about the “right” way to practice or not to practice Judaism. Our job is to help you explore the tradition and find your own place - on your terms - in Judaism’s Great Conversation (and to make sure you have a good time doing it!).

We will have 10 sessions* total over the 7 weeks - 7 group discussions, 1 Social Event, 1 Shabbat experience, and 1 one-on-one coffee date with a JLF staff member.

Group discussions are Mondays at 6:30-8pm (dinner included) on 2/5, 2/12, 2/19, 2/26, 3/5, 3/19, 3/26.
The Social event will be Sunday 2/11, and the Shabbat experience will be Friday dinner 2/24.
The coffee date with be scheduled personally with a JLF staff member.

In order to receive the $200 stipend, you must be present at all JLF sessions.

*If any of the dates pose a problem for your schedule, but you still want to do the program, please email our JLF Educator - elie@jlfrabbi.org
