Urbanist Elections Committee Application
The Urbanist is seeking passionate, locally-engaged volunteers to help guide our political endorsements for the 2025 cycle by serving on our Elections Committee.

Time commitment is roughly two 4-6 hour virtual meetings to interview candidates for office, 2-3 preparatory meetings of approximately one hour, an in-person meeting in the Puget Sound area to determine endorsements, and time spent creating and reviewing candidate questionnaires, all between roughly April and November. It's a big commitment -- but it's fun, it's important, and you'll learn a ton!

To be eligible for consideration, one of the following must apply: you live in the Tacoma area, the Bellevue area, Pierce County, South King County outside of Seattle city limits, or East King County outside of Seattle city limits, Shoreline, Lynnwood.

To be considered for The Urbanist Elections Committee, please answer the questions below. For questions, please email elections@theurbanist.org or our committee chair Hannah at hmshowell@gmail.com
