2026-2027 PBLWorks Middle School Math Field Test: Massachusetts
Welcome! Thank you for your interest in the PBLWorks Middle School Math Field Test! This innovative work will officially kick off in May of 2026 and run through the 2026-2027 school year. This registration form is meant to help us identify schools interested and committed to implementing two high quality middle school math units for all students in a grade level and/or school.

The program will continue to build upon our network of schools from the state, focused on learning with and from one another as they implement PBL. We believe that learning through networks is a powerful way to solve common problems, share successful practices and resources, and leverage the collective energy of like-minded and innovative educators.

This application should be completed and submitted by the school principal or math leader (or designee) leading the team.

Any additional questions can be directed to Jason Colombino, Director of District & School Leadership at jason@pblworks.org.

Priority deadline for registration is April 15, 2026

Your School Leadership Team
The PBLWorks Middle School Math Field Test requires a school leadership team composed of 3-5 people. The intent of this approach is to have a PBL leadership team that have the ability and capacity to create conditions at their school so teachers have the resources and support needed to implement high-quality math units.

This includes your school principal, a district champion, and 1-3 additional school leaders (such as assistant principals, instructional coaches, department heads, and/or teacher leaders). These should be individuals who will help champion PBL in your school, have formal and/or informal leadership roles, and can help lead the change process.
