Petra Jebens-Zirkel Memorial Scholarship for Women in Building Biology
Please answer the questions below to apply for the Petra Jebens-Zirkel Memorial Scholarship for Women in Building Biology. This scholarship, open to individuals identifying as female, will cover the full cost of the Building Biology Advocate (BBA) certification from the Building Biology Institute (valued at USD$1020, including course textbook; fully distance learning with some mentorship). Information about the BBA program can be found at https://buildingbiologyinstitute.org/certifications/building-biology-advocate-bba/.

The funds for this scholarship were raised through the Women in Building Biology Speaker Series. Petra was an award-winning architect and building biologist who established the Instituto Español de Baubiologie (IEB) in 2009 and was its president until her passing in 2023.  Her warm nature and dedication have left a built and living legacy of the 100+ projects she designed and the mentorship of countless practitioners. She presented in the Speaker Series in both 2022 and 2023.

The application deadline is 4pm (GMT) on Monday 25 November 2024.
