Teaching for Diversity & Student Equity Series
WEA Riverside is pleased to announce your council will be offering a series of talks and workshops aimed at understanding our increasingly diverse student population in SW Washington. We’ll be addressing issues within the range of racial identity, socio-economic status, gender inequity, queer identity, and talking about topics like the gender binary, decolonizing history, and how to relate to students struggling with external issues like financial precarity. Unless otherwise stated, these opportunities for education will be offered at the WEA-Riverside office conference room and begin no sooner than 4:45pm. We will offer these workshops throughout the year.
