MWGO Birdwalk and Business  Brunch

Join Ari Leach and Jeanne Christie, members of the Maine Wilderness Guides Organization for the first ever ‘Bird Walk and Business Brunch’. The event will start at 9:00 am with a 1.5 hour casual walk at Scarborough Marsh, looking for and learning about all the amazing birds that grace the marsh. After the walk, the group will head to a local cafe for a laid back brunch, where guides will discuss the ins and outs of operating a guide business here in Maine, ask questions, share ideas on trip planning, talk about how to engage a wider range of clients, and more.
 
This event is open to the public. and anyone who is curious about birds, nature, and/or comparing experiences and asking questions about the guiding industry in Maine is encouraged to attend. Please fill out the brief registration form so that we may plan for numbers at brunch. There is no fee for this event, though participants are responsible for paying their own tab at Cafe Luna.  Maximum of 20 participants.
 
Wear appropriate layers and footwear for the walk, bring binoculars and curiosity!
