SciREN 2026 Networking Fair Registration - Educators
The 13th annual SciREN Coast Networking Fair will be held the evening of Thursday, February 19, 2026 at the Core Sound Waterfowl Museum & Heritage Center (1785 Island Rd, Harkers Island, NC 28531) from 5:00 - 8:30 PM. Any and all educators looking to get scientific classroom resources (e.g., lesson plans, activities, and contact info of scientists looking to come to your classroom) and interact with local researchers are welcome to register for a fun evening with food, drink, and prizes! Our ultimate goal is to give K-12 teachers resources created by scientists to improve scientific literacy in NC classrooms.

In the weeks leading up to the event, we will send follow up emails with important details regarding the event: schedules, a list of research attendees, and what to bring and expect. Please note, this event is not kid-friendly and is directed for educators (teachers, principles, etc.). This is a free event.
