Friendly Tassie guide volunteers for Shimomura sensei's stay in Tasmania
Do you have a day (or half day) during a weekend in Term 3 that you could be a friend and casual tour guide to visiting teacher, Shimomura sensei?

He is a young and active person, who would appreciate discovering some of Tasmania’s natural beauty. You might take him on a day trip to Mt. Field for a picnic and a bush walk? Or a mountain bike ride on Mt. Wellington? An afternoon at Bonorong Park? A relaxing lunch at a scenic spot? A drive to a nice beach and a spot of fishing? It needn’t be anything too far or costly, but an outing and some good company would be wonderful.

Please fill out the form below to enable us to create a schedule in consultation with him. Volunteers will be contacted early in Term 3. Many thanks for your kindness!

Our family would be able to take Shimomura sensei on a Tassie outing sometime during the following weekend(s):
Please check any weekends that you can offer your company.
Where are you planning to offer to go? What are you planning to offer to do?
This question is to help us avoid Shimomura sensei being taken to the same place twice by different families! Although this may be challenging so far in advance, please try and provide as much detail as possible to assist us with our scheduling (sorry for the inconvenience!). You may like to make a couple of different suggestions.
