This form collects the necessary information to enroll your student with the Junior Eagles rowing program sponsored by Orlando Rowing Association (ORA). The registrant must be a middle school student during the 2024-2025 school year.
Registration of your rower with Junior Eagles is not complete until the season fee has been paid and recorded by the ORA Treasurer. All students have the option to attend one practice before paying this fee.
Fall Season 2024Location
- Edgewater Crew boathouse located at Lake Fairview Park
- 2200 Lee Road, Orlando FL 32810
- September 4th, 2024 - November 15th, 2024
- No practice 10/14 due to OCPS student holidays
- Regattas: Fall participation is to-be-determined by coaches based off skill and safety for rowers
Session Times
- 5:30pm - 7:30pm on Mondays and Wednesdays
- 10:00am - 12:00pm on Saturdays
Fees- $450 for 3 practices per week
- We're happy to move back to 3 practices this fall. Practice on M/W/S.
- Siblings receive a $25 discount
What to Wear
- Close-fitting shorts and t-shirts/tank tops - loose fitting clothes can get caught in oars and moving seats
- Water-friendly shoes such as slides or crocs are needed for the dock which gets very hot in the sun
- Sneakers and socks are needed for land workouts
What to Bring
- Hydration - water bottle filled with ice water, AND an electrolyte drink such as Gatorade or Propel (this Gatorade squeezable is the best water bottle for the boat)
- Food - a healthy snack
- Sun protection - sunscreen, hat, sunglasses
- Towel
- Gear bag such as a backpack or drawstring bag

All athletes will take a swim test in the first week of practice.
