North Korea experienced a series of jaw-dropping events last year: from the remarkable Inter-Korean Summit to the historical Summit between Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un, and now a disarmed Joint Security Area. With a rapid change from the inside out, what will 2019 hold for North Korea?
This tour will lead you deep into the core of North Korea’s society, to witness the authentic living of workers and peasants under long-term international sanctions and review the changes in recent years. Entering the isolated country by train, you will not only have a glimpse of the rural cities, but also encounters with North Koreans who often travel across the borders.
You will also experience the country in a series of traditional and exclusive activities, interacting with local students, strolling along the streets of Pyongyang with minimal official intervention, visiting department stores and cruising the capital city by Pyongyang Metro.
