The Dyslexia Dialogue is a non-profit organization formed by dyslexic students to support the wider dyslexic community. Our mission is to place students, parents, and teachers in contact with real-life personal experiences of dyslexic young people, encouraging support and understanding. We welcome both non-dyslexic and dyslexic volunteers to act in the following roles:
1. STUDENT SPEAKERS: Volunteers collaborate with their district or school to deliver presentations about dyslexia experience to students and staff.
2. PUBLICITY OFFICER: Volunteers share our educational dyslexia video (currently located on the International Dyslexia Association's Northern California website) in their neighborhoods and help manage our social media and website.
3. PODCAST HOST. Record an interview with another student (any age), about dyslexia.
