2019 We the People Summer Institute Application

Now accepting applications for 25 Virginia teachers who teach 7-12th grade to receive extensive mentorship from experienced We the People teachers and content knowledge from top constitutional scholars. Priority will be given to educators who teach social studies, government, civics, and similar subjects.

The cohort will begin with the 2019 We the People Summer Institute, and continue with two, one-day professional development workshops during the academic year (one in the fall, and one in the spring).

THE DEADLINE FOR RECEIVING APPLICATIONS IS May 31, 2019. Qualifying participants will be notified of acceptance in the order they are received and are accepted on a first come first serve basis.

This application requires you to submit a Statement of Administrative Support and two letters of recommendation. Be sure to have these documents ready before you proceed.
