RU Smarter than a Professor Sign Up Form
Event Description
-Compete against your favorite professors and deans in a jeopardy style tournament!
-Pizza will be provided
-Winners get bragging rights
-MUST BE AN ENGINEERING STUDENT

  • Competition: 7:45 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (Richard Weeks Hall, Room 102)

Come join us to participate in our annual RU Smarter than a Professor Jeopardy Games! 

This event will take place on Tuesday, February 18th at 7:30 PM at Werblin Recreation Center on Busch Campus. Students compete to build and navigate vessels of cardboard, duct tape, and garbage bags across the Olympic-sized pool at Werblin. This event is part of the 2025 National Engineers Week spanning February 17th to February 21st.

Register to participate in teams of 2 to build and race your cardboard canoe across Werblin! All participants are required to arrive no later than 6:00 PM. Teams that arrive late will not be provided extra building time. The races will begin promptly at 8:00 PM and end around 10:30 PM. Each team can choose a theme that relates to their team name and a costume. Participants are not allowed to bring any premade designs or sketches and are not allowed to use any supplies outside of the ones provided during the event. 

Students will receive Battle of the Major points for participating in this event!!

Please only have one team member fill out this form. Registration is limited and fills up very quickly. Spots are given on a first come, first serve basis, so fill this form out ASAP. Both team member must be a part of Rutgers SOE to participate. Filling out this form does not guarantee your team a spot in the competition. You will get an email from us with confirmation of your spot closer to February. 

Spectators are not required to fill out this form, and can just show up to the event the day of.
