Use the elevator or take the stairs to the 2nd floor of Walter Library.
The 2nd floor of Walter Library has a lot of excellent study spaces. It has tables and chairs, chairs without tables, moveable chairs, and so many whiteboards! Explore. Which room has your favorite study spot?
Use the elevator or take the stairs to get to the Basement Level of Walter Library.
The basement of Walter Library is where you can check out books, grab coffee, and unleash your creativity in The Toaster Innovation Hub. The Toaster has tons of free resources and events for creative minds. What are you excited to do in The Toaster?
You have NOT seen all of Walter Library yet. The Sub-Basement and Foundation levels are further down. These are not on the tour but just imagine stacks of books, musty paper smells and chairs from like 1985. And SUPER QUIET study space!  What do you think of this new information?

One last question and you're done!
Walter Library is just one of eleven libraries on campus. So there are more libraries to explore! The University Libraries aren't just buildings. Where can you go online to find books, magazines, newspapers, journal articles, streaming video, and music?
Oops! Actually, this is the last question. Would you like to receive the UMN Libraries newsletter so you can learn about events, exhibits, and more?
