Public Participation Request Form
The Fairport Harbor Exempted Village Board of Education values its engagement with the community and believes that providing an opportunity for public comment during Regular Board Meetings supports that engagement and provides transparency. Though proving an opportunity for public comment is not a requirement, we would like to continue this practice even while meeting virtually. In the spirit of maintaining this opportunity for our public to participate in these virtual school board meetings, interested persons may submit written public comments via this electronic form. The Board will collect the public participation information up to one hour prior to Regular Meetings for inclusion in the meeting.

When submitting your written public participation through the provided form, please keep your comments professional, refrain from using inappropriate language, and identifying individuals by name, including FHEVS staff or students.

All comments submitted to become a matter of public record and are subject to release under Ohio law and the federal Freedom of Information Act. As with in-person public participation made during a traditional school board meeting, board members reserve the right to withhold comments or answer questions during the virtual board of education meetings but will follow up with the speaker at a later time.

*To ensure efficiency during this unique meeting held through video conferencing, all Public Participation Request Forms must be completed 1 hour prior to the start of Regular Board of Education Meetings
