These are only suggestions. New and creative workshop ideas are WELCOME!
LIVING WITH DEAFNESS - family relationships, self-advocacy and self-esteem / communication strategies / navigating the social scene or the workplace / speech or lipreading
TECHNOLOGY - CART / voice recognition / amplification (cochlear implants, hearing aids, auditory brainstem implants, bone anchored hearing systems) / (hearing) assistive technology
PERSONAL ENRICHMENT - volunteerism and community involvement / online activities and social networking
ADVOCACY - self-advocacy using the ADA / systems advocacy / grass roots advocacy (the "power" of one) / new legislation
BENEFITS - social security, disability / veterans / vocational rehabilitation / educational scholarship programs and tax credits
LEADERSHIP - conflict resolution, problem solving, management skills / networking with other hearing loss organizations
RELATIONSHIPS - mixed marriage (normal hearing and late-deafened) / living single and deaf

This is what the Program Committee will be reading as we decide which presentations to choose. WHAT learning objectives do you want to accomplish? WHAT do you want the audience to take away from this workshop? HOW do you propose to present your material? Please limit this to 500 words.
