Membership on the Strategic Advisory Council includes a charitable donation goal to support the program and advance the work and mission of the Austin Monitor during this important time. *

Members are encouraged to provide a $1,500 charitable donation that supports the work and mission of our nonprofit news organization. Many employers offer funding for community leadership programs like ours, and we can provide resources to help in this discussion. Additionally, personal donations can be supplemented with donations with friends and family (and we can help here too). Though impactful, a financial donation is a not a hard requirement to join the council and support can be provided in other non-financial ways as well.
