Northern Beaches Primary School Strings -  

We are now taking expressions of interest for the above ensemble. This ensemble will be open to all Violin, Viola, Cello, and Double Bass students who are in Primary School grades 3 to 6.

It is envisaged that students will progress into the Northern Beaches Youth Orchestra once they have completed Primary School.

Rehearsals will be at Brookvale Public School on Wednesday afternoon from 4pm to 5.30pm

The ensemble will be taken by qualified string teachers and mentored by Northern Beaches Youth Orchestra musicians.

There will be concert opportunities through the year.

This activity is regarded as an addition to a school's string program. If the school of your child has a program, students must attend their school's program as a priority.

Fees will be $400 per year and the ensemble will begin in 2025 (once there are 20 registered members). If not, the ensemble will begin once 20 members have registered.

Students are required to have a private string teacher.
