GOT Spirit Survey
Introduction. Last fall St. Elizabeth’s membership began a year-long program called Generosity of the Spirit: Living our Lives in Response to God’s Blessings. The program has progressed through four phases and is now beginning a new year. We on the team would like your opinion of the activities in which you have participated. On a scale of 1 (low appeal) to 5 (high appeal), please rate the value of each item below for you personally. Rate only the activities in which you participated or which you observed.
RAINBOW OF GRATITUDE Fall 2017. In addition to submitting Pledge Cards, parishioners were asked to make lists of blessings for which they were grateful and write one or two on colored pieces of paper each week to place on a large rainbow display.

SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS ON WELL-BEING Lent 2018. Focusing on Health as a CongregationA series of Sunday School classes conducted by health professionals focused on nurturing our own health and that of the congregation.

CONTEMPLATIVE LENTEN VESPERS Lent 2018. Nurturing the Spirit through Spiritual Practice.A series of Vespers services on Monday evenings included the reading of scripture, meditative silence, prayer, and Taize singing.

PRAYERS OF COMPASSION TREE Fall 2018 Also during this phase, members of the church invited people in the community to tie ribbons on the Prayers of Compassion Tree in front of the church near the road.

RECOGNITION IN CHURCH OF PARISH MINISTRIES Easter 2018. Supporting the Mission of our Church in Ministry.During 5 services those who perform the ministries of the church were asked to come forward with their teams and place gems on a crown at the front of the church.

SPEAKERS FROM OUTREACH MINISTRIES Pentecost 2018: Loving our World in the Spirit.During the summer months leaders of the charities that our church supports through Outreach spoke briefly during the service and then joined us for coffee hour after church.

STORIES OF TRANSFORMATION Fall 2018. Supporting the mission of our Parish Financially.In addition to completing Pledge Cards, parishioners are writing letters of transformation and placing butterflies (symbols of change and renewal) on the board in the hall to indicate transformative events.
