HSJMC Alumni Board Member Application
Each year the Alumni Society Board may seek new members. The positions are open to Hubbard School alumni of any graduation year.

For any spot, the Board seeks professionals with journalism experience in newswriting, broadcasting, audio, podcasting and magazines as well as strategic communication experience in agencies, non-profits, social media, public relations, marketing, multimedia and advertising.

Volunteer members of the board should expect to:

+ Attend monthly virtual board meetings (first Tuesday of every month at 8 a.m.)
+ Assist in matching students with mentors for the Mentor Program (every fall)
+ Attend other events when possible (Mentor Program kick off, alumni mixers, student group visits , etc.)

Volunteering with the Alumni Society Board is a great way to support your School and the UMN, build experience, make an impact on current students, and meet and network with fellow alumni.
