Marvel at the majestic mountain gorillas during a trek in the magical Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Explore Queen Elizabeth National Park on a classic African game drive and enjoy a boat safari among hippos and crocodiles. Track white rhinos on foot at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and be mesmerized by the thunderous Murchison Falls, surrounded by incredible wildlife. Spot the rare Shoebill in Mabamba Swamp, and explore many more inspiring places that will capture your heart.

I understand that the price for this 16-day/15-night journey is USD 6,244 (approximately EUR 5,300) per person, based on double occupancy and excluding international flights.

Since you book and pay directly with my fully registered and certified local tour operator in Uganda, the amount is listed in US dollars. Depending on the exchange rate at the time of booking, this will be around EUR 5,300. I will personally guide you through the entire booking process and will also be your travel guide during the trip to ensure you have a meaningful and unforgettable experience.

Room Arrangement

All accommodations are based on double occupancy (i.e., two people per room). Friends or couples can request to share a room; solo travelers will be thoughtfully paired after a brief online introduction call. Twin beds (two separate beds) are the standard setup throughout the trip, but a double bed can be arranged for couples or those who request it.

Unless specifically requested by friends or couples, I will not assign mixed-gender room shares.

If you would prefer a private single room, this can be arranged on a limited basis, subject to availability at the time of your booking. I can provide the exact costs upon request, but please note that the single supplement for the full trip is a minimum of USD $1,000.

Payment & Cancellation Policy

To reserve your spot for this Uganda trip, a non-refundable deposit of USD 2,250 is required.

This deposit is non-refundable as it is used to secure essential bookings such as the Gorilla and Chimpanzee trekking permits and accommodations. Since this is a group trip, all reservations are made based on a fixed number of participants.

If you book within 60 days of the trip’s start date, the full trip amount of USD 6,244 is due at once (this includes the non-refundable deposit of USD 2,250).

If you cancel more than 90 days before the start date, you will receive a full refund minus the non-refundable deposit. Good to know: if I organize a new group trip in 2026, your deposit may be transferred to the next trip.

If you cancel between 90 and 31 days before the trip, 50% of the total amount minus the non-refundable deposit will be refunded.

If you cancel 30 days or less before the trip starts, the entire amount (100%) is non-refundable.

*This group trip through Uganda is a collaboration between Kim Paffen from Our Planet in my Lens & Safari Compass (Chamber of Commerce no. 63749947) and Chigo Tours Africa LTD — a certified and fully registered Ugandan tour operator based in Kampala, officially approved by the Uganda Tourism Board. Chigo is also a member of the Association of Uganda Tour Operators (AUTO) and part of the exclusive network of sustainable tour operators in Uganda (ESTOA).

These credentials highlight her in-depth field knowledge and her ability to lead meaningful, high-quality safari experiences.
