FilCom CARES Community Connectors 2022
FilCom CARES has been awarded national grants to support its community as the pandemic continues. FilCom CARES is offering mini-grants to empower students and community-based organizations in Hawaii to increase access to COVID-19 vaccination information and resources. We will provide awards for innovative projects that aim to serve those in the Filipino community and groups that have been especially affected by the pandemic in Hawaii. Grants ranging from $500-$2,000 will be awarded with priority given to community-based organizations and projects focused on assisting underserved groups/communities.

Examples from our previous mini-grants include:
- Social Media, webinars, newsletters, flyers
- Vaccination clinics and testing
- Other activities effective at reaching out to the communities of focus

Timeline: We will be reviewing applications when we receive them up until February 18, 2022, 11:59 PM HST. *Late proposals may be reviewed on a rolling basis at the discretion of FilCom CARES and pending available funding.

-Applicants will be notified within 7 days of receipt of their mini-grant application
-All awardees will have to submit a final impact report by March 17, 2022.
-All mini-grant activities should be completed by March 31, 2022.
