Community of Practice: Prevention: Substance Misuse Prevention and Mental Health
Welcome! Register here to take part in a statewide Learning Community of professionals hosted by Mary Francis who come together to discuss concerns/needs around Prevention in Ohio schools, learn about best practice frameworks and programs, and share new knowledge. Join us as we discuss the landscape of Prevention in Ohio; how we can plan and strengthen programs across the continuum, spread effective practices, and build continuity  through coordinated efforts with prevention practitioners and school staff.     

These sessions will include panels, guest speakers, and experts who will provide examples of how schools adopt frameworks, programs, and best practices for positive behavior support.  We’ll also explore sustainability practices for ongoing success. It also includes a forum for school staff and their nonprofit partners to get connected, discuss gaps in services, and reinforcing successful approaches for student assistance. best practices, legal requirements, resources, and practical tips related to critical incidents and mental health. There will be time for questions, discussion, and collaboration.
