COPPA Permission
Penn Manor School District uses many excellent learning websites for teaching and instruction. The District is  making you aware of federal regulations that apply to operators of websites that may collect information on children under 13. This regulation, Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), requires parental consent before collecting personal information from children under the age of 13.

Schools are permitted to consent to the collection of personal information on behalf of parents of students, thereby eliminating the need for individual parental consent given directly to each web site operator. Before doing so, the District is providing this notice and opportunity to review the educational sites commonly used for instruction.

Each of the websites and applications requires registration before use. By acknowledging below, you are consenting to allow your child’s teacher to indicate during the registration process that you have consented to the use of each of the websites and applications, and that you agree to the privacy policy terms.
