Welcome to the 2025-2026 Gator Band Application!

Upon completion of this form, you will receive audition information/music shortly after.  Information will be sent via the UFL and personal email you have recorded.

Deadlines/audition dates to note:
Wind Auditions: 
Submit videos to Professor Watkins by July 1, 2025.

Florida Drumline (FDL) Auditions:
Open Auditions:
Saturday, May 10th, 2025 - 10:00am to 2:00pm
Saturday, May 24th, 2025 - 10:00am to 2:00pm
Final auditions by invitation only:
Saturday, June 7th, 2025 - 10:00am to 4:00pm

Florida Visual Ensemble (FVE) Color Guard Auditions:
Sunday, April 27th, 2025 - 12:00pm to 4:00pm
We also accept video auditions. Instructions for video auditions will be by request only and more details can be found in the audition information email.

Gatorette (Baton) Auditions:
Sunday, May 4th, 2025 - 12:00pm
Auditions will be at the Steinbrenner Band Hall. 

State College students are welcome to become members of the UF Gator Marching Band through the Transient Student process. Students who are selected to participate in Gator Band will be required to complete a Transient Application through Florida Shines.   

Santa Fe Students must complete the above mentioned Transient Application through Florida Shines and also satisfy the following Santa Fe College transient student eligibility criteria:
- Completed at least one semester at Santa Fe College (SUMMER B can fulfill this requirement)
- In good academic standing (must not be on academic warning, probation, or suspension)
- A.A. degree-seeking student at Santa Fe College
- Will transfer transient courses back to Santa Fe College to be applied toward SF degree requirements (requested course must count towards your SF degree)
- Have satisfied (or are currently in process for) all SF pre-requisites for the intended transient course(s)
- No active registration holds

Santa Fe A.A. Music students who are receiving a music scholarship, or who currently have below a 2.6 GPA, will not be eligible to participate in Gator Band per Santa Fe College.
