Rock U. Advanced Studies Institute 2017-2018
Rockin' out with your Rock U. band, but ready to take it to the next level?  Or seriously into music, but looking for a different experience? Rock U. is pleased to offer three new workshop series for the 2017-2018 Rockademic Year!

In "Rock U. Records" (Instructor: Tom Walters), it's time to roll up your sleeves and create your own music.  You'll not only develop your original songs with your peers, but you'll record, engineer and PUBLISH them as part of an anthology to be released on iTunes, Spotify and CD in June 2018!  Open to advanced musicians age 14-20 by audition only; limited to 6 participants. 12 sessions plus release party, mostly Saturday mornings. 695€/year (includes all recording and publishing costs)

In "IGNITION" (Instructor: Doug Stanley), Rock U. is teaming up with American Children's Theater to produce a musical adaptation of Shakespeare's Love's Labour's Lost, set to a modern rock soundtrack - and you are the producer.  We'll comb through our playlists of our favorite songs to choose the right music to match the play, then arrange them into a soundtrack we'll perform ourselves for the show!
Open to musicians age 13 and up, all abilities welcome. 12 sessions plus performances, mostly Friday evenings. 500€/year

Our ongoing "Tech Talk" workshop series will give you a chance to learn the tools of the trade from working professional musicians.  Each workshop will feature a different instructor teaching you about a different topic, so you can sign up for just one, or all of them!
Open to musicians age 12 and up, all abilities welcome (may vary by workshop); 40€ per two-hour workshop
