Teaching about fashion and sustainability - your views
The Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) and The JJ Charitable Trust are interested in understanding geography teachers’ views on teaching about fashion and sustainability and whether teachers may be interested in more support on this topic.

We would welcome your views on the following questions and this survey will be open for responses until the 27 September 2019.

Thank you for your support.
Do you teach about fashion or consumerism within your geography lessons?
If no, why not?
If yes, which phase do you teach about it?
What case studies and/or themes do you include?
What resources do you use to support your teaching?
If you have taught this before, what specific resources have you found useful to support your teaching?
Your answer
If new resources were available which explored sustainability within fashion would you be likely to use them?
If new resources were available on sustainability and fashion which themes would you want them to cover?
Would you want the resources to explore the opportunity for young people to explore their views and actions in relation to these issues?
If yes, what areas might do you think it would be appropriate for young people to explore?
If no, why not?
