Mizzou Hillel Internship Application

Engagement Intern
- Reach out to freshmen and new students before the semester starts to welcome them to campus, and continue engaging students throughout the year.
- Take students out for coffee, engage them in Jewish conversations and experiences, and connect them to others with similar interests or other Jewish opportunities.
- Track trends in student engagement using Schwipe, Hillel’s online relationship management system.
- Attend and fully participate in weekly intern cohort training sessions with the Hillel Internship supervisor.
- Participate in Hillel programming and have a presence at Hillel events and on campus.
- Occasional tabling shifts on campus to spread the word and meet new Jewish students.
- Desk hours to answer phones, work on projects, and reach out to students.

Israel Engagement Intern
- Same as Engagement Interns (as described above) with a focus on Israel programming and connection
- Help recruit for our Birthright Israel trip

Program/Logistics Intern
- Work with Hillel staff and Jewish Student Organization (JSO) board members to develop and grow current Hillel programming.
- Help with event logistics, including space rental and set-up as needed
- Coordinate event calendar and communicate with Hillel staff and interns and JSO
- Desk hours to answer phones, work on projects, and reach out to students.
