Welcome to our Healing Performance Program Application! 


ABOUT YOUTH EMPOWERMENT PERFORMANCE PROJECT:
Mission- YEPP strives to create a brave environment for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Intersex (LGBTQI+) youth experiencing homelessness to explore their history, investigate new ways to address their struggles and to celebrate their strengths through personal, leadership and community development programming that incorporate different art-expression forms.


ABOUT THE HEALING PERFORMANCE PROGRAM
Within 9 months, six newly selected members (youth ages 18-25) move through a creative process of healing, self-discovery, and life building that results in a self-developed theatrical production. Throughout the process, members are provided with resource support, such as transportation, bi-weekly stipends, mentorship, housing advocacy, and more. This program closes with community performances of the production and possible opportunities to travel regionally and nationally while creating awareness about issues surrounding LGBTQI+ youth homelessness and its intersections.
