Field work will be conducted from July 21st to August 3rd at the Knife River Indian Villages National Historic Site in Stanton, North Dakota
This project will be a follow up to the first session at Awatixa and will consist of the excavation of selected slump blocks along the cut bank of the Knife River. The crew will also document artifacts and other materials exposed below the cut bank.
To be considered for this project, you must sign up for at least 3 consecutive days.
*Keep in mind that the dates below represent field work days only. You will be required to arrive to camp the evening prior to your first field day.
