Philological Society Monographs
Full (i.e. Ordinary and Honorary) members of the Society are entitled to request one printed copy of each publication in the Monographs series that is published during the course of their membership. Requests should ordinarily be made not later than the end of the calendar year after the date of publication (e.g. end of 2019 for a monograph published in 2018).
Copies are only available to members who paid or were exempt from subscriptions for the year of publication and who remain up to date with their subscriptions. If you are uncertain about this, please contact the Hon. Membership Secretary.
Please enter in full the information requested below to record your request. Please make a separate request for each different volume. If you don't know your membership number, which is required, you can find it on the address label of all mailings sent to you by the Society or you can contact the Hon. Membership Secretary for a reminder.
Requests are collected and processed in batches quarterly, so please be aware that there may be some wait for your copy to arrive. In the meantime all members have electronic access to Monographs via the Wiley website at
Members are asked to note that copies will be despatched to the mailing address held by the Society at the time of processing the request. Please inform the Hon. Membership Secretary (richard.ashdowne [at]
) of any change to your postal or e-mail address.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the delivery of journals and monographs in print by Wiley has been disrupted. Members who wish to make requests for monographs may continue to do so in the usual way with this form and requests will be fulfilled as and when possible. If you have already made a request for a volume please be patient: your request has been recorded and so we would ask you not to make a further request. We regret any inconvenience this may cause to members. Electronic access remains unaffected by the pandemic disruption.
