Pair and Share @PairandShare #PairandShare

All too often, as school and education leaders, we look for inspiration for Educational Improvement from outside of school - we buy in speakers, pay for companies to run INSET days and scan the educational landscape for 'minds in the know'. Often what we fail to recognise and acknowledge is that we are at the cutting edge of education because we are working in the here and now - we don't tap into this enough. @PairandShare was formed as a free service with the sole aim of uniting like minded leaders in the pursuit of increasing outcomes for pupils. We all have colleagues who work in great schools that we share ideas and practice with but once you have explored these avenues and want further ideas and innovation then who do you turn to?

@PairandShare provides the opportunity for schools to forge links locally and nationally to share great ideas and good practice. The aim is to link like minded schools together in order for them to visit each other and learn from one another's practice. The only stipulation is that once a visit is completed you tweet about it (take pictures of good ideas etc) and share them using #PairandShare in order for us all to benefit.

*You are able to stipulate in the form the distance you are willing to travel, what you'd like to see, what you have to offer etc and we will then find a like minded school for you.

** #PairandShare will run each term of the academic year and to help us improve school collaboration we welcome any feedback.

***We have now added preschool/nursery and Further Education to the form to encapsulate all forms of education.

Once you have completed this form you will receive notification of your partner school by the 30th September in order for visits to take place in the Autumn term. We will pass on your partner school's details to you and it's over to you!
