Singapore (SSG) has implemented a digital attendance system that requires all
learners attending courses eligible for SSG funding to take their class
attendance using their Singpass app (via their mobile phones). This will be the
default attendance-taking mode from 1 Oct 2023 and is
mandatory for
Singapore citizens, Permanent Residents and Foreigners working in Singapore
as well.
You are required to download the Singpass app and set up your Singpass account before your class commencement.
Existing Singpass app users should ensure that the app is updated to the latest version.
To ensure minimal disruption for yourself or your staff, it is highly recommended that they do the following:
1) staff arrive 15 to 30 minutes before class starts
2) staff has installed, registered and successfully logged into Singpass on their mobile phones
Without having the Singpass app on your mobile phone will result in:
a) attendance not being captured
b) delay of funding disbursement
