Pattern Drafting and Sewing from Ready-to-Wear, Sept 14 & 21
Have you ever wanted to re-create a favourite top, leggings or skirt? Bring your garment and our instructor will guide you through the steps to DRAFT a pattern and SEW a simple garment.

Date: Saturday, September 14 and 21, 9:30am - 1:00pm
Instructor: Denise Jones Chu, Hello Beautiful
Skills: General sewing knowledge and experience using domestic sewing machines
Equipment/Supplies: Bring your own basic sewing kit (paper and fabric scissors, seam ripper, measuring tape, ruler, pencil, eraser, fabric chalk, straight pins, masking tape or invisible tape)
Domestic sewing machines are available for use in the OSF Shop.
Students are welcome to bring their own sewing machine to the class, if they prefer.
Students will create a pattern from a ready-to-wear garment of their choosing and then use the pattern to cut out and sew a garment. Students may wish to bring a few garments to review with the instructor. Pattern paper provided by OSF.
Cost: $110—2 sessions, 3.5 hrs each. Class size is limited to 10 students.
