Invent Alaska Competition
The Invent Alaska Competition was launched in 2015 to showcase innovations developed using the knowledge learned while a student or employed at UAF and UAS.

Eligible competition innovations are any product, method, computer code, or device that can be licensed, copyrighted or patented. Innovations are submitted through a disclosure of the innovation to the Office of Intellectual Property and Commercialization.

The university wants to help you protect and commercialize your innovation. While the university owns innovations developed using university resources including classwork, innovators in return receive substantial backing in the form of resources and expertise.
