2024 Academic Decathlon Volunteer Sign-Up
The 2024 Bay Region Academic Decathlon will take place in-person at the Solano Community College (4000 Suisun Valley Rd, Fairfield, CA 94534) on Saturday, January 27, 2024.

We are in need of the following volunteer roles.
 
SPEECH JUDGE, INTERVIEW JUDGE, AND ROOM MONITOR/RUNNER
      Saturday, January 27, 8:00 AM - 2:45 PM
      As a judge, you will be paired with another volunteer(s) and score students
      according to a scoring rubric.  The report time for training is 8:00 AM.
      Interview Judges will interview students.
      Speech Judges will listen to students present two speeches.
      Room Monitors will support Interview or Speech Judging Teams.
      Runners will assist decathletes to their assigned rooms.
      Morning Nutrition and Lunch are provided.

SUPER QUIZ PROCTOR AND SUPER QUIZ ASSISTANT
      Saturday, January 27, 2:45 PM - 5:00 PM
      As a Super Quiz Proctor, you will monitor students as they
      take the Super Quiz test in front of an audience.  The report time for a short
      training is 3:00 PM.  The event will end around 5:00 PM followed by the Awards Ceremony.

You will receive a confirmation email by January 22 indicating the role(s) you have been assigned along with brief orientation links to view at your convenience.
