The railway is a sustainable and futureproof mode of transport both for passengers and freight.
Today we see important improvements in services, sustainability and efficiency of the railway, however, especially on cross-border routes, regulatory and operational problems persist.
This event will highlight concrete solutions and projects on the Brenner Railway to overcome bottlenecks and
cross-border problems, to strengthen modal shift from road to rail and the inter-modality, to better
connect the regions along the Brenner corridor and to share visions of future trends for passenger
rail travel.
