Two age divisions.
TWO PIE CATEGORIES: CRUMB TOP or PIE TOP
Pie drop off time: SATURDAY September 13. between 11am and noon
Event Location: Pie Contest tent at the County Fair : Allegheny Commons Park West
Judging will be announced 3pm! (1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each division and category)
Rules:
1. you must submit a written recipe card with you pie.
2. you must drop your pie off at the PIE CONTEST TENT between 11am and noon.
3. you must make pie crust and filling from scratch.
Judging critera:
1. overall appearance 10 pts
2. overall flavor 25 pts
3. creativity/vibe 20 pts
4. Filling: consistency, doneness 20 pts
5. Crust: color, flavor, texture, doneness 20 pts.
6. Recipe card 5pts
