Do you want to be a Scholarship Judge?
Every year, the
Mensa Foundation awards college students over $200,000 in scholarships. Each applicant submits an essay of up to 550 words expressing their academic and professional goals and how their personal experiences will help them to accomplish those goals. Volunteers then read and score essays. Judges can be Mensa members, or non-Mensa members. We request judges who are college age or older.
The process is completed entirely online! Judging can be expected to take anywhere from 10-20 hours from the comfort of your own computer between late January and into February/March. Judges will get 50 essays, and can request additional essays if they want.
If you're interested in volunteering as a judge, please sign up below. We'll reach out to you in January before we get started with detailed instructions and a link to the judging platform.
