Market Schedule
We are EVERY Saturday all year long!

* Saturdays (times vary by season)
* Regular Market Hours: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
* Night Market Hours: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM

We do not do both morning and night markets on the same day the dates will indicate whether it’s morning or night.

Vendor Information

* We are currently full for sourdough vendors and will not be accepting additional sourdough applications at this time.
* Several baked goods categories are also at capacity.
* We do not accept resale items or MLM/direct sales businesses.

Vendor Fees

* $35 per market for a 10x10 space.
* Vendors requiring more than a 10x10 space will be charged for an additional booth space.

!NO STAKES OR TIE DOWNS WEIGHTS ONLY!
ANY SIGNS NEED TO BE SECURED TO YOUR TENT OR USING WEIGHTS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING IN THE GROUND you WILL be fined

Food Trucks: We are limited in space for food trucks if you have the option to also set up as a tent please go ahead and add that in!

Photos & Marketing
The Melissa Market regularly takes photos and videos during events, including Facebook Live broadcasts. By submitting an application, you agree to the use of your image, booth, products, and business name in our marketing, social media, and promotional materials.

You are held to everything you agree to in this application please read through carefully.

Invoices must be paid by Thursday at 12:00 PM to secure your spot in the market. Vendors with unpaid invoices after this deadline will be removed from the event lineup and their space may be offered to another vendor.

⚠️ Food Vendor Notice – Effective September 1, 2025 *Cottage Food Vendors If you are selling foods covered by the Texas Cottage Food Law (such as baked goods, jams, pickles, candy, coffee, etc.), you do not need a food permit to participate. *Cottage food vendors selling TCS (Time/Temperature Control for Safety) foods such as cheesecakes, cream pies, or cut fruit must register with DSHS, use proper labeling, and follow storage/temperature rules — but no local permit is required. Vendors Serving Meat, Poultry, or Seafood • Cottage Food Law does not cover meat, poultry, or seafood. • If your food contains any of these, you are required to obtain a Temporary Food Establishment Permit. • DSHS requires applications 30 days prior to the event. • Collin County requires applications at least 5 business days prior to the market. • A copy of your approved permit must be emailed to us before you can set up at the event.📩 For permit questions, contact Collin County Environmental Health at environmentalhealth@collincountytx.gov.or adenaker@collincountytx.go *

Attention Food vendors who need a permit to operate *
Beginning July 1, 2026, Texas House Bill 2844 will transfer mobile food vendor licensing and permitting authority to the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS). Under this new law, food trucks and mobile food vendors will be required to obtain a state-issued license/permit rather than local permits. Current local mobile food vendor permits will expire after June 30, 2026. (Texas Health Services)

If you have not already done so, we encourage you to begin reviewing the new requirements and application process through DSHS to ensure there are no interruptions to your ability to participate in events and markets after July 1.

Please note that while the state will now handle mobile food vendor licensing and inspections, local requirements such as zoning, fire safety, and event-specific rules may still apply depending on where you operate.

We will not be having a market November 28th or December 26th due to the holidays

If you have previously been approved for dates please only put new dates you are wanted to attend.

If you sign up for a themed market Example: Boots and BBQ we expect you to decorate or dress up per that theme. Make it fun with us
