JPS FOUNDATION POWER-UP ENERGY CLUB DEBATE COMPETITION 2024 REGISTRATION
The second staging of the JPS Foundation's Power Up Energy Club Debate Competition is here. Complete this registration form and book your spot in this competition. Registration is open from Monday, November 4, 2024 and closes Friday December 6, 2024 at 11:59 PM. 

ELIGIBILITY
This competition is open to debaters/students who are a part of their school's Power-Up Energy Club. 

COMPETITION DESIGN

  • The first Sixteen (16)  Schools that register will be guaranteed a spot in this competition. All other schools will be placed on a waiting list and their participation will be subject to availability of spaces.

  • A team can have up to five (5) debaters, three active and two reserve debaters. 

  • The sixteen teams will face off in eight (8) matches in round 1, producing eight (8) winners

  • The quarter final round will see eight(8) teams competing . The winner of each match will advance to the semi-finals. 

  • The two winning teams will advance to the grand finale. The two non-progressing semi-final teams will play off for the 3rd place title.
