The Karmê Chöling Staff practices the Shambhala Sadhana at our 9am practice session every full moon. The practice takes place from 9am - 10:15am Eastern Time
The current link is for Shambhala Sadhana practice on Tuesday evening, May 7, 2020 at 5:30pm.
Please join members of the Karme Choling community for a special Shambhala Sadhana Household Dinner on Wednesday, May 7th, beginning at 5:30PM Eastern.
First, we’ll practice Shambhala Sadhana and Evening Chants together in the Main Shrineroom (the sadhana text will be shared onscreen).
Then we'll reconvene after a short break into ‘breakout rooms’ for a more intimate dinner-table conversation. Poems and other inspirations could be offered. Games could be played. We can commiserate about the state of the world (or not!). We may gather with old friends or make new sangha buddies!
KCL Chef Jason Taylor will select a ‘key ingredient’ for the meal and share what it is ahead of time so that we all might have a chance to incorporate it into our personal dinners.
Attire for this one is ‘stay-at-home-chic’ (aka ‘come as you are’). Any style of cuisine and drinks are welcome.
Please register at this link and we’ll send you the link and further details!:
The next Shambhala Sadhana practice sessions will be on June 5 at 9:00am.

Karmê Chöling Opening Chants
KCL does the following opening chants before practicing the sadhana:
Proclamation of Goodness
Supplication to the Shambhala Lineage
Great Clouds of Blessing
The Heart Sutra
Short Lhasang Chant
Note: we may occasionally be able to screen share the text of the chants, but cannot guarantee that will always happen due to the small number of available staff. Thank you for your understanding.
